At 4 months Luke is weighing almost 14 lbs. He is only in the 3rd percentile for height and he is not on the chart for head cir. At our 4 month check he got two shots and didn't even cry. I was concerned about his head being flat so I talked with the dr. about it and he said to go to a pediatric physical therapist. We went and he said it is definitely flat but that he does not need a helmet so we are suppose to just work on positioning him so that he is not laying flat on his back. He prefers turning his head to the left so we are working on him turning is head to the right more and when he sleeps I put him on his belly during the day and at night on his right side. He is having a lot more tummy time and time in his baby bjorn, bumbo and excersauser. And he is spending a lot less time on his back on the floor, in his car seat, stroller, and high chair. As you can see he is now smiling all the time, talking, giggling. It is so cute. He is not rolling over consistently but has done it a couple times. He eats about four 6 oz bottles a day and nurses once a day. I try to feed him baby food twice a day (afternoon and evening). He is wearing 3-6 month clothes. He goes to bed always by 8:00 and will get up anytime after 3:00. He has slept all night but not consistently. If he gets up at 3 or 4 he will nurse and go back to sleep until 7 if he gets up at 5 or 6 that's what time our day starts. I just love how happy he is and how much he is talking now. He is starting to be a lot more active. He wants to be moving his body constantly but when he is tired he will still cuddle up and sleep in my arms.
