my cousin Adam's wedding

My cousin Adam, on my mom's side, the youngest of the 6 of us got married several weeks ago and I thought I would post a few pictures from the wedding. These are my grandparents...aren't they the cutest older couple you have ever seen!!

It is so hard to get a good picture of Lauren sitting still, looking at the camera, and smiling. This is as good as it gets. I love this picture because it shows her pretty blue eyes.

I tried so hard to get a family picture, we were all dressed nice in our black and white but could I get a decent one...no...this is as good as it gets. My face it a little red but unfortunately it is not from having too much to drink. I had nothing it is because I spent the entire night running after my child.

This was a the ceremony. Lauren insisted on sitting between Uncle Mike and Aunt Amy. She actually did really good through the whole service.

Some funny stuff

Lauren always loves to climb up in a chair or on the couch and she has to have about 3 stuffed animals, two babies, a blankie and in this picture the phone. And whenever craig or I is sitting on the couch or chair she has to pile all this stuff on us....it's so cute

I had some left over halloween stickers so we put them all over her body she thought it was pretty cool

Lauren loves Baxter (Or Backy as she calls him), But baxty doesn't so much like her....but he does tolerate her.

More Halloween fun

These pictures were taken and my sister's Halloween party. It was the weekend before Halloween which was good because the weather was much better than halloween weekend. It was a little chilly but not wet. Lauren had a ball with all the kids...she has ketchup all over her face because of course all the kids were running around and she was eating her second hot dog.

Potty time!!

I didn't want to post this blog too soon but it has been a little over a month and the potty training is going really well. Columbus day was the day it started. For the past several months we have been putting her on the potty before bath and in the morning. Nothing was happening. She went I think like once and she had no clue what was happening but on this wonderful Monday when I was off work she started showing interest. I took her out bought her some pull ups and elmo panties and ever since.... when she has been at home she has been wearing her panties and going on the potty. She is doing better at day care but still has to wear her pull ups. We put her in pull ups out in public but at home she is in her panties..we have had some puddles and the best was when she pooped in her panties but she was able to tell me right away that she poopied. But she calls pee pee poopy so she doesn't quit know the difference yet. So far so good and she isn't even 2 yet...I don't want to get my hopes up though. But we are already saving in diapers she is only wearing 1 at night and 1 at nap.

Halloween at the zoo

We went to Halloween at the zoo. It was so much fun. The weather was beautiful...we didn't even need our coats. We looked at the animals and rode the merry-go-round. We had to go twice it was so much fun. The first time we rode the bunny then we wanted to ride the Zebra (Zebras are her favorite animals right now) but a little boy was on it so we had to ride the chicken instead. Daddy, Nana, Grandma, and Poppy came with us. They love watching her at the zoo. She is so busy and loves the animals.

Lauren and Holden

We went to the pumpkin farm several weeks ago and ran into my friend Katie, her husband Jay, and Holden. Holden is about 2 1/2 so just a little older than Lauren. They are always so cute together. They plan nice, hold hands, and kiss...so cute.

Happy Halloween

We had a good halloween weekend except that Lauren had a little cold. We tried to still trick or treat, but only made it to about 5 houses.. This was probably the most fun Halloween's I have ever had....it is so fun seeing it through a child's eyes. I was afraid Lauren would not want to put her hand inside the pumpkin because she is so girly and she doesn't like yucky stuff but she did put her hand in and she loved it. Lauren loves her Elmo costume but I think she liked even more that daddy and mommy were Burt and Ernie. When I would take the big head off...to breathe. She kept telling me to put it back on. All the neighbors and some strangers made sure to comment on our great costumes...one little boy even asked Craig where his rubber ducky was (poor craig...he's such a good sport).
