Cinderbella

Lauren loves to dress up. She no more wakes up in the morning and she has some princess outfit on. In fact I am using it as motivation for pooping in the potty. If she poops her pants while wearing it she loses her outfit. Today she is dressed up as Cinderella or Cinderbella as she calls her. And yes she lost her outfit....there were a lot of tears.

The joys of pregnacy

I try really hard not to complain too much about being pregnant because I feel so blessed to have been able to get pregnant so easily. Carrying the baby I'm not so good at but we have one perfect little baby and were almost there with little Lukie. Being pregnant is very hard for me. I feel about every unpleasant symptom there is to have with pregnancy (nausea, vomiting, excessive tiredness, frequent urination, bloody noses, sore breasts, headaches, mood swings, numbness of the fingers, forgetfulness/dumbness, leg cramps, stretch marks, constipation, diarea, shortness of breath, back pain, cramping, and most of all just being uncomfortable). With this pregnancy I am tired and uncomfortable all the time. The worse part of this pregnancy has been the constant bladder infections I have been getting. This past week I was hospitalized with contractions because of another infection. He is so low and it is very uncomfortable and at times painful. I am at home now on bed rest. Bed rest is horrible. You would think laying around wouldn't be that bad but it is. You get bed sores, awful headaches, and your muscles get so weak you can barely move. Not to mention being bored out of your mind....there is only so much you can do from a horizontal position. But thankfully the medication I am on is doing it's job. He's still in there safe and sound. He is moving like a crazy man too. Someone in this body may as well be moving since I can't. There is not a lot I like about being pregnant beside the miracle that it will bring.

Our little bears fan

We were very happy in the Stille household this year. The bears had a good season and made it to the playoffs. These pictures were taken on the day of the playoff game. We were very excited about the game.....too bad it was brutal to watch....maybe next year bears!!

Museum fun

Over break Lauren's cousins stayed with grandma and poppy so we were able to spend some time with them. We went to the discovery museum and the kids had a ball. They probably spent the most time on the 3rd floor painting and playing dress up. Lauren loves hanging with her big cousins.

Dance Party

At our Stille family Christmas Mindy brought over the Wii and Lauren's cousins brought their favorite new game, dance party. It was so fun watching the kids dance with the game. Lauren really started getting into copying her cousins. It was so cute.

Happy New Year

We had a really fun new years eve. We went to a party at The Cunningham's. We even made it to midnight. There were lots of kids there as you can see from the picture. Lauren always loves to go to parties and is usually pretty good. I didn't really make any new years resolutions this year just to rest and get this baby to go full term. My New Year's resolutions usually have to do with losing weight or exercising more. And we know thats not going to happen any time soon. 2010 was a great year and now next year we will have little Lukie to ring in the new year with.

Lauren's baby dolls

One of the best things about being a mom to a little girl is being reminded of your own childhood. I loved playing with baby dolls....in fact I probably played with them too long. I think I was like 12 and still playing with dolls. Lauren is just like her mommy and she loves playing with dolls. She was the one that told us to take a picture of her baby....just in case you were thinking it was a little creepy. She alway has to put the baby blanket just right. She has come up with some interesting names for her babies. Henry who is a girl. Baby boy her boy doll. And binky. And we don't discriminate. She has a doll with a broken leg that she loves to play with. The doll in the picture is Henry. This one is probably her favorite one....the one I spent a quarter for at a garage sale. Hopefully all this baby practice will come in handy with the new baby....I guess we will see.
