Summer fun

Luke and the little neighbor girl enjoying a snack together watching the builders build a house.
Aunt Brookie here from North Carolina for a visit.

Everyone is wore out!  The kids love it when daddy sleeps with them.

In the digger of a big excavator watching Brandon and Angela Kuppersmith's house being built.

Luke washing his bike with our mister.

Upside down Luke.  The kids always love it when Brian gets in the pool to play with them.

We did a walking challenge this summer so this was Katie and I getting ready for our nightly walk.
Lauren went horseback riding for Alexis's birthday party
Both kids took golf lessons this summer with Ava and Dean

And Uncle Don!

Strawberry picking

Nick's driving.  Luke's in front and don't forget about Nana!!  Not to many Nana's would hop on a 4 wheeler with her 5 and 10 year old grandsons.

Game night on the driveway

We shared all of our sea shells with our friends and made picture frames out of them

Finally my kids are both old enough to go down the slides.  Lauren stuck to the slow yellow slide.  Luke was all about the steep red one.  He had to have gone down at least 20 times.  I went down once and that was enough for me.  Luke is getting better at swimming.  He refuses to wear a floatie.  He can swim just not super well.  The 2nd or 3rd time he went down the slide the life guard jumped in after him.  He was fine.  He totally could have made it but I guess the life guard thought he was drowning.  When she got to him he looked at her like what are you doing in here?

And poor Amy....she didn't have such a good summer.  She was laid up with a broken ankle and then got a blood clot.  She is lucky to be alive.  I took her to the doctor a couple times and took her meals.  I called her almost everyday even though she wasn't much fun to talk to.  It was a rough go for her.  I'm glad to have my fun-loving, happy sister back.  Her ankle is totally healed now and it turns out she has a genetic clotting disorder and now has to be on blood thinners.  .

My bff Amy and her girls came to visit.  It is so cute to see our oldest girls get along so well!  They even had a sleep over.
