Oh my Lukie is quite the treat. He is the sweetest, happiest, funniest, most exhausting, demanding, ball of energy I think I have ever known. He is driving me crazy one minute and making me smile the next. He is sooooo ready for school. He will be in K3. I messaged his teacher last night because I had a couple questions and I ended by saying I feel like I need to apologize for him before he even gets there. Thankfully she is wonderful and is super excited to have Luke. As you can see from these pictures he had his first and hopefully only set of stitches. He was running around like a fool at bible school and ran into a medal cabinet. It has healed very nicely. He tells me "You hav put medicine on my pore-head". We have been spiking his hair lately. "me ike (like) piky hair". I wish I had a picture of him with his sword. He is obsessed. "me have a big heby (heavy) tord (sword). He said that to my sister the other day and she thought he was talking about a big heavy turd! He loves swimming. He can dive and swim. I will get him in lessons soon and I think by next summer he may not need his floatie. He has also been very inappropriate which I think is a boy thing. He loves being naked all the time. He likes to tell us when his "peni is big" He says "me ike your booby's mommy" The other day he told one of my friends he liked hers too! I just hope he doesn't try to feel up his teacher!! He runs so fast and loves to pretend he is spider man or a power ranger. I have to be the pink one and he is the blue one. We went to the thrift store the other day and he comes around the corner with socks on his hands and say "you buy me dees (these) gloves mommy". Sure buddy. He proceeded to wear them the rest of the day (a hot 90 degree day). Oh boy my little Lukie is full of joy and keeps me on my toes.

What's Lauren been up to??
Lauren is getting pretty excited about 1st grade at her new school. She has been busy this summer swimming, riding her scooter, and playing with our new neighbors. Her reading is coming along but she doesn't really like reading. This is the first summer without her floatie. She is doing great with her swimming. She and her brother have been tolerating each other. Most days its a struggle. But when they are getting along they play so nicely together. Lauren is going to a "Frozen" dance camp this week and loves it!! She loves getting together with friends and is very good at making new friends where ever she goes. She loves changing outfits and has a real sense for fashion. My mom took her to Vonmour the other day and came home with some beautiful outfits. She picked them out, modeled them, smiled and said please so Nana of course said yes! Good thing Nana only has 1 grand daughter. Last week we went school shopping and to get our nails done with grandma. We have been going to bed late and sleeping in all summer. I would say she has been a little spoiled and is having a great summer.
Happy 4th of July 2014
What a fantastic forth of July we had!! We went to Danvers for their neighborhood parade, had some pool time, went to the Cunningham's for a party, and ended the night at Pepper Ridge with some new neighbors to watch the fireworks.
"I mustache you a question.....does this band aide look stupid?"
Princess Pigtails ready to roll in her motorized truck. We got this at the beginning of the summer from a neighborhood garage sale....we love it and use it almost everyday.
Although Luke loves his new truck he prefers Nick's "por-wee r" Four wheeler
Jay and Nick got morph suits!! I guess its the new thing now....kids these days.
And they lived happily every after!!

Our new house
Here are some pictures we took at the inspection. We love the openness and all the space!! The neighborhood is great too!
Holy TRIM
I'm glad I took a picture of this but the picture does not do this project justice. Craig and I stained all the trim for our whole house and closet doors. We spent many cold, winter nights doing this until midnight or after. It was hard but actually a really special time for Craig and I. The kids were in bed and we were both used to going to work on about 5 hours of sleep. We would get the kids to bed early, put the country music on, crack the beers open, and stain away. The trim and doors looked amazing and I just know it is what sold the house!!
sleep over
This must of been Feb or March. Nick spent the night. I think it went well. They all look happy and Nick doesn't seemed too grossed out about his naked cousin. Sponge bob always makes for a good time!!
Uncle Rod turns 60
No clue when this happened I'm guessing march. Cora had a surprise party for her dad in Rockford so Mom, Luke and I made the trip to help him celebrate.
Easter egg hunt
Nana's Birthday
Yep...I'm going backwards again. Just trying not to forget anything. Look how Awesome Nana looks in her homemade visor! "Get in there and smell that candle" Happy Birthday Nana....we Love you!!"
Palm Sunday at Nana's
Think I'm going backwards now!! All that matters is I'm documenting important events. So here is Palm Sunday at Mom's...that's it! It was good...I think :)
Easter
I feel that the last 3-4 months have been a whirl wind with the move and ending the school year and starting our summer. So Easter.....3 months later!! If I can remember... it was a nice day mid April I think! The Easter Bunny came and just tossed some chocolate eggs in the basement when the kids were in the backyard on a Saturday...because that's how we roll! We went to church I assume since we always do. I guess this is why I should keep up so I can actually remember what happened. Did I tell you I moved!! I do remember that Lauren insisted on taking a picture with this ball. I also remember wanting to take a bunch of pictures of them on the swing set since we were leaving it when we moved....they do miss the swing set :( So Happy Easter 3 months late!
