"I'm a good helper"

Lauren thinks she is a good helper. In the video she takes daddy's glasses off and tries to put them back on. The picture shows her trying to help mommy pack. At dinner tonight she tried to help Baxter by throwing all her dinner down to him. After school today she wanted to help mommy clean the kitchen floor by eating crumbs off the floor. Last week she tried to help mommy with her makeup by taking the lip gloss and putting it up my nose. Tonight she wanted to help daddy change the channel with the remote. He was trying to watch basketball and we ended up watching some infomercial about cellulite. She is a very busy and bright little girl who keeps us on our toes!!

Day 2

I had to go back to work this week. No more snow days.
I took some cute pictures of Lauren..........She is sleeping.
It's funny because she sleeps with 5 blankets and 4 stuffed animals.
Hee hee, check out raffi giraffie.
And she has been really proud of herself because she can now open
the kitchen cabinets all by herself. She is only allowed to open the
tupperware one and the pots and pans one. As you can see she got
into the dog cupboard and is eating a rawhide and fisting a milk bone.

Day 1

Wow I feel so technological!!!

I have some free time being that it is MLK day and Lauren is napping so I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog especially since everyone else is doing it!!!

For starters I will fill you in on our family

Me: loving motherhood, teaching, enjoying it, but wish I were home

Craig: doing way to much between school and work, but is still able to be a great dad. He will be glad once his statistics class is over.

Lauren: Cuter than ever. She is still not walking, but is a crazy crawler. She now knows how to go up and down stairs safely by herself. She knows what she wants and likes to throw fits if she doesn't get her way. She eats like a pig and poops like a 300 lb man (that's becoming an issue!!) She likes to read books and she likes when mommy sings to her (soon she will be old enough to realize that mommy sucks at singing!!)

Baxter: over his poop issues and now is spending some quality time with grandma and grandpa.

Our excitement of the week: We just got back from Grand Bear Lodge. We had a blast at the water park with Amy's family and my mom. Lauren loves the water.
