Oh Lauren

Back in January we got new bedroom furniture for Lauren.  Craig's cousin gave it to us for a very reasonable price.  At first she did not want us to get rid of her old dresser which used to be my dad's crappy dresser.  She cried and screamed and carried on about it.  Once we moved the new stuff in she was fine.  We ended up moving the old one into Luke's room just because she couldn't let it be sold or curbed!

Lauren is my more shy reserved child who doesn't really like to be the center of attention but every once in a while she can be a goof ball!  She was working really hard one day to cross her eyes!  Success!  The best part about Lauren's year in first grade is that we get to compare notes.  This will be my last year teaching first grade so I am glad I got to share it with her.  She has done so well and learned so much.  Her progression in reading and writing was amazing.  She has made some new friends and really likes school but is very ready for summer!!
