I made turtles for our neighbors this year and the kids were a big help....well Lauren was. Luke just kept eating all the chocolate.
The kids loved decorating the tree. Lauren really enjoyed it. She wanted to know who each ornament belonged to and what it said. I told her the story about each one and then she carefully hung it in a nice spot on the tree. Luke didn't really help but he didn't get in the way so that's all we could hope for. This year I got Lauren a pink star wand with her name on it. She is really into pretending and being a Princess. I got Luke a shoe with his name on it. What can I say....the boy loves shoes. He mostly likes ones that don't belong to him and ones that are girly!!
