My BFF Amy and her girls came for a visit over spring break. The kids got along great. We had a beautiful day to play outside and go to the park. Amy and I have been friends for so long and it was so good to catch up.
Happy birthday to the best mom and Nana around! The best thing about Nana is she loves spending time with her grandkids loving each of them in different ways and building a strong bond with each one. She makes family her number one priority. She models what it means to be a good mom and she is always looking out for us. She is fun to be around and I'm lucky to have such an amazing person to call mom!
This was a fun day and activity but of course tons of work for the adults! Luke was done painting his eggs about 5 minutes later and they were all that brownish color. The girls took their time and painted beautiful eggs. I ended up using my cake pedestal with fake pink grass and displaying the eggs under the dome on my dinning room table.
It's starting to feel a little like spring. We had our annual Easter egg hunt at church and took our neighbor girls with us. On the way home we stopped at the Gingerbread House and they had ducks and bunnies for us to pet and the Easter bunny was there. It was a great day.
Back in February we had a snow day....it was really cold but we could still get out and about so we went into school to play with the scooters and jump ropes. This was a good work out for Chan and I too. The kids loved it!
I so rarely put pictures of Craig and I on here but one night we had a date and were looking pretty good so mom took our picture. I am so lucky to be married to such a great man who I love spending time with. He is a great father and I enjoy the moments we share.
We were so excited when the skate and place opened back up Lauren and I went by ourselves the first time and had a blast! Lauren is an awesome roller skater. Luke tries! So the next time we took Luke with us. Luke and I were pretty much confined to the practice room where he continuously spent time falling and skating....more falling than skating but he was a trooper. He wanted to keep trying.
