Meeting Case

Last weekend Stephanie and I flew out to NC to meet baby Case.  We had a great weekend.  It was relaxing and fun to get away.  Case is such a good and sweet little baby I enjoyed getting my baby fix.

Boys and their sports

Jay Cross Country!  We went to 2  of his meets this year.  He did well.  I enjoyed going and watching him run.

Nick football.  I made it to 3 of Nick's games. He does pretty good.  

First day of school

Lauren 1st grade.  She loves school and is doing great!

Luke K3.  Mrs. Barth is a great teacher and he is doing great at Calvary!

Meeting Ainsley

My good friend Amy had her second daughter the end of July.  So we got a quick trip to Chicago in before we went back to school.  She is adorable and Amy is doing just great.  Lauren loves babies....can you tell!!

Fun with Neighbors

The neighbors borrowed a golf cart for the weekend and were giving out rides all night.  The kids loved it.  We love our neighborhood so much.  There are so many kids and everyone loves hanging out.  Our backyard neighbors moved in right before school started.  They have 2 girls 7 and 4.  Luke and Shaiyah get along great.  We let off a bunch of fire works too.  Lots of neighborhood fun.  The kids are in heaven!

Trip to the dentist

This was Lauren's 3rd trip to the dentist.  She has not lost any teeth yet.  She does a great job of brushing and got a good report.  This was Luke's first time and he did great!!  I was so proud of him.  He was not shy at all.  He had a lot to say to the hygienist.

Fun with Friends

We were able to get a play date in with the Hobson boys before we had to head back to school.  We went to Monkey Joes and then did some swimming at our pool.  They had a good time.  I wish we would have had a monkey joes when we were kids.  They were wore out after 2 hours of jumping!!

Grady's

We like to get out to Grady's every summer.  Especially since we didn't do the fair this year.  My mom and I took all four kids.  They had a blast.  Lauren is still a little scared of some of the ride so she stayed on the merry go round and motercycles most of the time.  Luke was not big enough to ride some of the rides or else he would have!  He had no fear.  The big boys rode all the crazy rides of course.  When they went on the bumper cars Lauren got scared and I had to make the guy stop the ride so I could get her off.  But come to find out later there were other boys being way to rough.  Nick and Jay stuck up for Lauren.  It was cute.

Janel's Visit

The last week in July my good friend Janel came to visit from California.  Her little boy is 5 and her little girl was born two days after Luke.  So our kids are very close in age.  They got along pretty good and we had a lot of fun.  We went to spray parks, the zoo, out to Amy's to do some four wheeling, and parks.  It was exhausting caring for these 4 kiddo but a lot of fun too!

Summer fun

We had a really great summer!  This is us doing some painting on the drive way.  We played a lot outside and really enjoyed playing with new friends and swimming at the neighborhood pool.  The kids have adjusted so well to the new house.  We love the neighborhood and are having a very relaxing summer.

Frozen Ballet Camp

This past summer in the middle of July Lauren participated in a Frozen themed dance camp every afternoon for a week.  It was great fun.  She enjoyed it.  Except the last day when it was time to preform for the parents.  She gets very nervous and doesn't like to do things in front of people.  She did a nice job.  I can tell she has some talent but is a little unsure of herself.  Sometimes she has a hard time keeping up with the choreography too.  I loved watching her....such a perfect little ballerina!
