sistely love

Lauren set up a camp out in the basement with her sleeping bag and her barbie radio.  She really wanted Lukie to join in the fun.  She loves playing with him and having him around.  He is getting a lot more active and will grab stuff and pull her hair but she still likes being with him.  Now that she is at school all day she seems to really miss him.

And Luke of course is happy as can be to be included in all of sissy's fun. 

Lauren loves to climb in to bed with Luke too.  They cuddle and talk to each other.

She is so good at entertaining him.  He loves watching her and playing with his big sister.

 I am so happy that both my babies like the water.   Luke loves pool time.... just like Lauren did when she was at this age.  Picture on top is Luke and on the bottom is Lauren.

 This was our day at the pool.  It was super fun and wore everyone out....including me!!

zoo day

This was our trip to the zoo with all the cousins.  It was as little hot but fun.  We had to ride the merry-go-round. 

Lauren would not let me take her picture all day so this is Reid trying to get her to turn around for the picture....he was unsuccessful.

A rare treat

For those of  you who follow my blog you may know that Nick and Lauren do not really get along.  They are usually competing for the same thing, arguing about who is bigger and stronger, or pinching each other.  So hold onto your chairs......they are holding hands!!!!  They spent the whole day together and were so nice to one another.  Since Luke came along I have felt the stress of having 2 so I do not get to keep my nephews as often as I would like.  I think Nick was exceptionally nice because he was just so happy to be with us.

discovery musuem with our cousins

This past week Lauren and Luke's cousins were in town for a week to stay with grandma and grandpa.  Bennett is 10, Dallyn is 8, and Reid is almost 6.  They usually come every summer for a week so we look forward to being able to spend a lot of time with them.  The first day we got together we went to the museum.  Lauren was able to stay all day and play with her cousins.  The big kids love their little cousins and it so cute to watch them interact with each other.  Jay went with us too.
